WHAT IS FOOD INTOLERANCE?

Food intolerance can occur when the lining of the gut is inflamed. When this happens, small tissues open between the tightly woven cells making up the gut walls. Known as “leaky gut syndrome,” these chinks in the gut’s armor allow bacteria and partially digested food molecules to slip out into the bloodstream where they are considered foreign invaders.

Once the body spies a potential enemy, it doesn’t hold back and the immune system attacks full throttle. White blood cells rush to surround the offending particle and systemic inflammation ensues. More than a sore throat or infected finger, this can be likened to a hidden, smoldering fire created by the immune system as it tries to fend off a daily onslaught of food allergies.

HOW THE FOOD INTOLERANCE TEST CAN HELP YOUR PATIENTS

USING ONLY THE BEST TECHNOLOGY POSSIBLE

The FoodPrint 200+ (Food Intolerance Test) is a comprehensive laboratory service and requires samples to be sent off to the lab, where they are analyzed. Results are usually returned within 10 working days.

It uses microarray technology which enables a more sensitive test to be performed. Because of this, a greater number of foods and substances can be tested.

Wanna know about my diet and how I lost 12.5 lbs in 2 weeks? Since sinabi ng kaibigan ko na ‘pag nag-FIT kayo, specific diet siya or unique diet based on your blood extraction. Next week I’ll be having the extraction and then ‘pag binigay na nila yung results, malalaman ko na kung anong food yung dapat kong iwasan. Food na pwede kong i-replace dun sa iniwasan kong food. Substitution. Then yung mga food na pwede ko kainin once every other day.

I followed the elimination diet and started eliminating dairy and wheat (also one of the food items on the “red” list) and after just a week, I feel so much better! Mentally, I feel less stressed, more in control of my emotions, and have more clarity and less fatigue. I don’t feel bloated anymore which helps me to be more productive. I like my skin ever since but recently, I feel it softer and brighter than ever. I go to the toilet more regularly now. Overall, I feel light, vibrant, and glowing! I really couldn’t recommend GMT’s FIT test enough! It’s a good investment for our health and most importantly, it gives us a sense of empowerment— the feeling we know why we feel what we feel and the sense of calmness that we know we can do something about it right away.

The Food Intolerance Test can help me (and you!) determine what food causes uncomfortable symptoms. With the results of this test, I can personalize my diet and focus on my journey to becoming a healthier version of myself. They had to extract around one ml of blood from me and the whole procedure was very smooth and very fast actually. May home service sila na available so para ‘di niyo na kailangan lumabas, pwede niyo isa ipa-request na gawin sa bahay. Also, it was the least painful injection I had. Usually ‘pag nagpapa-injection ako, sobrang sakit. The procedure was also very safe. Naka-PPE pa si Kuya Jericho.

Took the test with my sister and after just a week (1 vial of blood needed via blood extraction), results came out. Turns out, I’m intolerant to dairy, corn, rice, oranges, corn, and more, which means my body doesn’t get to digest it well after I consume these foods. Ever since I try my best to eliminate these from my diet and replace it with healthy alternatives like quinoa and coconut milk — and yes, I don’t feel fatigued and bloating anymore. Getting the Food Intolerance Test is an investment you can make for yourself and a loved one. It’s truly worth it! Plus, it comes with a consultation with a nutritionist.

END-TO-END PROCEDURE

  1. The doctor will prescribe the test.
  2. GMT’s key account manager will get in touch with you to schedule the extraction of the sample. They will also answer additional questions you might have about the procedure.
  3. GMT’s medical technologist will personally go to the agreed location to collect the sample.
  4. The specimen will then be analyzed in the laboratory.
